Thank you to everyone who helped us spread empowerment this Fall!
The Annual Fall Suit Drive brought in about 300 professional clothing items! These items will soon help other men and women in our community find new jobs and start new careers.
The Fall Give and Greet Luncheon was a wonderful afternoon with lunch provide by BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse in Irvine. It was an upbeat crowd of extremely generous business professionals coming from all over Orange County.
We want to send a special THANK YOU to the Involve group @ KPMG in Cypress for setting up their own donation collection! It is always wonderful to see other companies involved and supporting the mission of Working Wardrobes.
This was the first time that the Escoe Bliss Annual Fall Suit Drive included a raffle for a prize basket provided by Working Wardrobes. On the last day we picked the winner and a big congratulations goes out to Elliot West, of Wachovia Bank!
Remember that we will hold our Annual Spring Suit Drive in April 2010! Try to start putting aside items now. As you do the, "What to wear" stare in front of your closet consider the fact that the item that fails to get picked morning after morning may be the missing piece to the "power" suit of another individual.
